This cafe has changed in the last year. As you approach the Leidseplein what you see now is a mass of dead-white hard chairs and tables,2 chairs to a table,Modern?: Of course. Welcoming? Certainly not! So, because this was a magnet for those who wanted a late afternoon/ evening drink and a chat, it was empty on the three days we went that way.Go round the corner and there are the remains of the wicker chairs . Good for stretching out/ relaxing, they wrap themselves round you and you are at ease immediately. So, all the chairs were fully occupied. Of course!

Being a cafe, its menu is not extensive but it is pricey and restricted and not good value for money so we saw only 10 people in there in 3 evenings, everywhere else being packed.

Inside there has been a big change around to a more modern decor, attractive and very modern but empty.

When I wrote my review some 2 years ago, I said that it was a good place to consider. DON'T BOTHER NOW.
