We looked for a good steakhouse away from the Leidseplein and the main tourist areas. We were not disappointed with this one. The steaks were first class, exactly as ordered and the sauces were an excellent complement. Chips were substantial, both in quantity and, unlike the usual fries,of a good size. The staff were attentive, friendly and relaxed and the service was very good. The menu has several interesting fish items.We didn't try them but we will next time. Meals were priced competitively but nothing was sacrficed. A gem, hidden away on a quiet street.

Here is a Steakhouse that has high quality meals on offer. Our steaks were of a good size, very tender and cooked exactly as we required. The fries were plentiful and not so thin that they turned hard. Service was attentive. The restaurant, on the Noorderstraat is unpretentious and rather dark inside. There is limited space for 3 tables outside, on a narrow pavement. Never mind these qualifications: the food is good and competitively priced.
