De Oriënt

I was there in 2005, as well as 2000 and 1995.loved it every time. This is the most reasonable Indonesian restaurant I have found in Amsterdam. It is not dirt cheap but great value, great service, very warm and cozy.

I can't really give an up-to-date review, but I visited De Orient in 1989 and again in 1992. On both occasions it was superb - the food and the servixce were great. I'm just glad it's still there - at least I may have the chance to go again.
