Update: The Sampurna was given a makeover a couple of months back (March 2008).
It now has a new, contemporary, feel - new decor, furniture, bamboo floors, crockery & cutlery, even the gents / ladies toilets have been totally refurbished and upgraded. A thorough professional job all round. The only thing that has not changed is the great food and service.

Absolutely one of the best Indonesian restaurants in the Dam. I never visit Amsterdam without calling in at least once per visit.
Good food, friendly staff, excellent wine-list, and they have now introduced a special lunchtime menu. Treat yourself. Hit the Sampurna!
