The main problem with this restaurant is not the food or even the service , if your lucky enough to get the very friendly and obliging young Asian waiter or some of the girls.

There is however a very pushy matter of fact under-manager whos only objective seems to be to get you in and out as quickly as possible and provide the minimum of curtosey , manners and even pats of butter with your baked potatoe !!!

The meat is normaly very good and the wine is fairly reasonably priced. The surroundings are excelent. The window seat, a 350 gram ribeye , bottle of Argentinian wine and , the young Asian waiter serving you , and there shoul'nt be any problems.!

Superb service and food September 2004 when we visited. Hank, the manager, hovered over our table of five like a mother hen. The all-you-can-eat ribs could not have been better. Two in our party ordered steaks, ate them, and longed for more. So Hank brought out racks of ribs for everybody! For the best service and food eat early, such as 6 p.m. The staff and management don't have much to do then because the Europeans don't take evening meals until after 7. Oh, and hand the waitstaff a postcard from your home town. They eat that up.

Visited the restaurant in 4 December 2005 with 3 other friends.

Was recomended by a local.

Very quiet and intimate atmosfere. Service was quick, but after the order you had to wait a little, understandabel if you think that even the meat is cut to order...

You have a lot of choices, from soups, going through meats/steaks to wines.

The meat is real argentinian pampas beef, cut and cooked at your order.

I had the 350g (thought it would be huge but not quite...) "t-bone"(??). Had it made medium-rare. I ordered it after the waiter recommended it as one of its personal favorits.

Plus 3 beers.

Came out at the end to a total of 35-40€...

A little on the pricy end, but hey, it's was a "real" argentinian steakhouse and it was worth it.

Tourist trap! Mediocre meat served with McDonalds style chips matched with appaling service and rude staff. Avoid.

went for easts on a busy Friday night. could not be seated immediatly so got a few beers (later found out that these were "on the house"). Got an excellent table upstairs by the window & watched the world go by to & from Dam square. Staff were very attentive & polite and food was excellent.

Little pricy compared to other steak houses in A'dam but this one is worth the extra for the atmosphere, good food & & unrushed service.
