The service was appalling. We were told we would wait 15 minutes for a table the the owner had identified for us. He then, quite casually, announced to us that he had given our table to another group and that we should just wait longer. At this point, 10.30pm, one cannot easily be served dinner in Amsterdam, so we decided to stay.
Once a table was finally available for us, the menu was told to us, but not given. No prices were announced. We ended up paying 20 euros each for very average over cooked steaks.
On the other hand, the atmosphere in the place is rather nice, its just the service and food that don't match standard expectations, and it's over priced.
