Turkish food needn't be all the same. If you are looking just for kebabs then this is probably not the place to come. You may be surprised at how good this restaurant is, given that it is in a central location that can often disappoint the diner. Many different and interesting main dishes that are unmistakably Turkish (my fave is the stuffed lamb). The meat is of good quality and the portions of rice are yum (don't know what they do to get that texture and flavour of rice). There are a whole range of hot and cold starters on offer as well. The restaurant is cosy and has a good atmosphere with friendly, efficient staff. One slight drawback, though, is that if you are sitting next to smokers, it can be uncomfortable. Not cheap but fairly well priced food and drink.
