Cafe Kale de Grote

Cafe Kale de Grote is essentially a large pub or Dutch 'brown' bar. If you're looking for that atmosphere (which I was) it's a great place to relax and have a meal and drinks with friends. The food is fairly good, though somewhat typical/not creative. They have some interesting seafood dishes and one or two vegetarian dishes. Service isn't great, even by Dutch standards, but I'd still go back when I'm looking for this type of setting.
